EG: You're on Facebook, and suddenly You see, that Youtuber, who You like will be in Your city. First thought ' I have to be there!'. This time was the same. On Monday there was a meeting with Red Lipstick Monster in Katowice. Of course I couldn't miss it. Meeting was planed at 5 p.m. I was on place few minutes before. I got off the tram and a total once stood in the queue for signatures and photos. Literally 10 meters from tram station was end of the queue. It has almost 1 kilometer. Before I got through to Ewa it was 4 hours later. During this time I met great girls (if they reading it, greetings!). Unfortunately I also got sick, so I write to You from my bed above sea of tissues and other attributes of sickness. Returning to the meeting, when we finally arrived at Ewa, she greeted us with a smile and an enthusiastic 'Hey!'. She was very optimistic. Here were hugs, photos and autographs. Despite the dent to health and so many hours in the queue really it was worth it. After the meeting, it turned out that there were about 4000 people. If You have the opportunity to participate in such events, it didn't even hesitate, and above all be open, because You return not enough that a meeting with someone and new friendships too!
PL: Przeglądasz sobie spokojnie Facebooka i nagle widzisz, że Youtuber, którego lubisz będzie w Twoim mieście. Pierwsza myśl "...
EG: 'Addiction is bad, because it keeps you on leash"'. This post started uncharacteristically, from the quote. As befits me, this is a quotation from the Polish rap. If You think it will be a typical post from a series of addiction is bad, don't pack it in, etc., is not discouraged. I'll try to make my gray cells to work to convey what I want in a slightly different way. Did I succeed? You judge it.
EG: Returning to the quotation provided at the beginning. Always listening to this song, it stayed in my head for a long time, sometimes a very long. Many times I analyzed those words in a million ways. Of course, I agree with it. Falling into a habit, we are like an animal tied on a short rope to a pole. We can not leave it, we do not have enough strength to break the string. We circle around, seeking escape, but it does not give anything. At the end, we sit down with a pole-addiction center. Sitting down, surrender to indulge yourself, we give in and everything starts from the beginning.
PL: "Nałóg to klatka". Kolejny urywek tekstu tej samej piosenki. Uzależnienie można porównać do klatki, klatki człowieka-celi więziennej. Jakie? Sam musisz znaleźć odpowiedź.
EG: 'Addiction is a cage'. Another snippet of text the same song. Addiction can be compared to cage, cage-man prison cell. When the grilles closed, we can not do anything. We can only give up and wait until everything has passed. Unfortunately this does not go away by itself. We must fight, we strive to not be there forever. Judgment may not always be for life, addiction, too. However, to prevent this, we must take certain actions to combat. What? You have to find the answer on Your own.
EG: 'Addiction-tedious diving into a cesspool, in which is a bit of fun at the bottom'. I think that this text is both metaphorical and literal. Imaginary situations also isn't needed because it has them. Nothing more nothing less.
EG: 'I addicted to You quickly, much too fast, too hard and too hastily'. Not just something that goes to our body, can be addictive. Other person. In my opinion one of the toughest addictions. This part definitely the hardest for me to write. Addiction, who is a person, is pleasant, while this person is with us, we are in constant contact with him or her and so on. The stairs start when we lose someone. It is in us only a vast emptiness, it can not be clog. It is very hopeless addiction, that sits in the psyche. Addiction, which is alcohol or other partly to, but it also affects our body. Dependence on another person sitting only in the psyche, and if something happens in our head, very hard to get away from it. Our body can get used to something and wean soon, but the mind is no longer so easy. Trails in the psyche, including addiction, can pull the years, to a lesser extent, but still.
PL: JAKIE SĄ WASZE PRZEMYŚLENIA NA TEMAT UZALEŻNIEŃ?
EG: WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ADDICTIONS?
EG: Fall - how many of You on the news about it think "I hate it". Me too for long time I was the same opinion. Scarcely this year I was waiting for this season (of course, when hot days sink into oblivion). I was surprised, that I was really happy, when I saw colorful world outside. Of course fall has negatives, like every season, but how to not get fall blues and spend this time as best as possible? It's like everything else, find positives and based on it. So what I love in fall?
Moja ulubiona - trochę soku z pomarańczy, grapefruita i cytryny + cynamon + imbir + goździki + miód. Tę mieszankę zaparzam albo z owocową, albo ze zwykłym Liptonem. Jeśli nie próbowaliście, to serio musicie.
EG: I'm a coffee fan, regular and dessert. If in this second category I have to choose, I don't know if something is better than Pumpkin Spice Latte. Maybe not original, but this flavour is made for me. During fall I drink liters of tea. My favourite-some orange juice, grapefriut juice and lemon juice + cinnamon + ginger + cloves + honey. This mix I infuse with fruit tea or Lipton. If You don't try, You have to.
EG: In the summer I almost don't use it, though I'm really crazy about that. Fall is salutary time, when I'm back to this great thing. I love it, when I'm sitting in the evening and next to me is small glimmer, which smells really good.
❦ Przytulne rzeczy/Cozy things
Kolejny punkt, który uwielbiam, a jesień pozwala mi go realizować.
EG: Blankets, sweaters, warm socks, scarves. I can mention and mention. Honestly, often I buy something, cause it's pleasant in touch and warm. I don't know, it's because I want to have a dog (next year!), or I just like things like that. Next point, which I love, and fall allows me to realize it.
❦ Refleksje/reflections
PL: Długie wieczory, specyficzny klimat i ucieleśnienie przemijania daje do myślenia, przynajmniej w moim przypadku. Zawsze dużo myślę, o życiu, o przyszłości i przeszłości podczas jesieni. Strasznie to lubię.
EG: Long evenings, specific climate and embodiment of passing makes You think, at least in my case. I always think a lot about life, about the future and the past, during fall. I really like it.
❦ Wieczory/evenings
Uwielbiam to!
EG: Evenings are long, so we do more, when it's brightly. So we are more productive. When darkness fell, we can calmy sit with a book, in cozy blanket and cup of favourite tea. If You are outside, there is something on plus too. When it's dark everything show us totally other face. I love it!
❦ Deszcz/rain
EG: You may ask, what is pleasant in the rain. Of course, if You're standing at the bus stop, or wherever, and you don't have an umbrella and hood rather nothing. However, if You are at home, the rain tapping on windows, candle lights, take a blanket and a cup of tea (yes I know I repeat myself), repeal the window. The sound intensifies, feel or smell. Only I like it?
EG: Fall sessions, same pictures of leaves or other falls attributes just catch the heart. Although not very original, it has a climate, that get only in fall.
❦ Zimno/cold
PL: Co?! Zimno przyjemne?!
EG: What?! Cold pleasant ?! Certain aspects resulting from it anyway. For example, it is a great excuse to hug someone, especially if you're the type who loved hugging, like me haha. The second benefit is that, if not cold, we don't love all this cozy things.
❦ Klimat/climat
PL: I ostatni pozytyw jesieni, który dopełnia to wszystko. Specyficzny klimat, jak wcześniej wspomniałam, sprzyjający refleksjom, daje poczucie przytulności, takiego spokoju umysłowego i odprężenia. O wiele przyjemniej czyta się książki jesienią niż latem (przynajmniej w moim przypadku). Ogółem wszystko, co opisane wcześniej, razem tworzy niepowtarzalny klimat, którego możemy zaznać jedynie jesienią.
EG: And last fall positive, which completes it all. Specific climate, as previously mentioned, favorable reflections, gives a sense of coziness such mental peace and relaxation. A much better reads a book in fall than in summer (at least in my case). Overall, everything described above, together creates a unique atmosphere, which we can only experience the fall.
A Ty co lubisz w jesieni?
And what do You like in autumn?
PL: Jesień - ile z Was na wieść o niej myśli sobie "nienawidzę". Ja też długo byłam tego zdania. Dopiero w tym roku czekała...
EG: At the beginning, departing completely from topic of the post, I would like to really apologize You for this three-week break. I don't even know, when it flew. October is very intensive month for me, I'm feeling like a wreck slowly, without power and without time for regeneration. Unfortunately blog had to go down to the side plan. When You have so many activities, going to take pictures border on the miraculous. Apropos photos, I'm so grateful to Ola for graphic part of today's post. I hope, You understand me and it will be better. And now I invite You, for right part of this post.
PL: Hej, Ty!
EG: Hey You! Yes, I'm talking to You. You're after studies, You have job, You're trying to have a baby, You're planning future with your partner. I'm the same person as You, but I'm 15 years old, I'm ending gymnasium, I choose next school. Do You remember what was You like? No? I'll remind You.
No trudno, żyjesz dalej, a ten jedyny lew kiedyś nadejdzie.
EG: You were so ambitious, all days You weren't at home. From school to English lessons, to the gym, to church, because You are preparing for Confirmation. Despite the fatigue You don't quit, You're fighting like a lion, because resignation shows a weakness, but You don't want to be weak. You want to be lion, not roe deer, which falls it's victim. Too many times You were roe deer. They tell You, slow down, give up something. You're still a lion, You'll show them that You can do it. However You have a weak point, even with the best friends, You miss someone. A lot of lions around You, but You're missing this one and only. You're thinking about him, although it's not a specific person, You know, what he is like. You are a lion with small roe deer inside. You live on, and this only lion will comes.
PL: No dobrze, wiesz, jaka byłaś, ale jakie miałaś marzenia? Pamiętasz? Ach, jak przez mgłę. To też Ci przypomnę. Masz jeszcze mnóstwo marzeń i celów, odwiedzenie ogromu krajów, spotkanie paru osobliwości, osiągnięcie czegoś więcej w blogsferze i wiele innych. Ale są jeszcze te realne, dotyczące przyszłości. Kochający mąż, piękny dom i dwójka potomków.
EG: Okey, so You knows, what You were like, but what were You dreaming about? Do You remember? Like a vaguely. So I'll remind You. You want to meet your idols, so banal, but now it's not achievable for You. You go at meetings with people, whose artistic work You use everyday, because it's one of your dreams. Do You remember Your passion? Yes, photography. Dream-new Canon, it'll come true, You're working for that and in June You'll have it in your arms. You have a lot of other dreams and goals, visiting many countires, meet some people, to achieve something more in the blogosphere and many others. But there are real ones, concerning the future. Loving husband, a beautiful home and two children. And dog, own company and the life that You love. I hope that You achieves these goals. I just wanted to tell you not to forget about me, because the past is not just to forget it.
PL: A Ty co powiedziałbyś sobie z przyszłości?
EG: What You'll tell to You from future?
EG: What You'll tell to You from future?
